| UNFAIR MEANS : |
|
| |
1. |
Use or possession of cellular phone, pager, calculator or any other mechanism of communication, any data retrieval system, written material in any form, electronic and nonelectronic gadgets, and any other modality that may be considered unlawful by the Examination Centre Superintendent and the Unfair Means Committee shall be treated as use of unfair means. |

Use of any unlawful means or unfair means before, during or after the examination shall result in the cancellation of candidature/selection of the candidate. Intimation will also be sent to the MCI / DCI/State MC/DC and the concerned Medical/Dental College for necessary action. |
| 3. |
Candidates shall maintain silence and attend to their papers only. Any disturbance in the examination hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour and the candidates shall forfeit the right to continue to write the examination. The decision of the Centre Superintendent shall be final. |
| 4. |
Submitting false information in the Application form will be treated as unfair means and the application of the candidate will be liable to be rejected even if he/she has successfully obtained admission in a course. |
| 5. |
Photograph must be taken with a placard in front of the candidate carrying the name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph. The name and date on the photograph must be clear and legible. The name and date should not be written or printed on the photograph after taking the photograph. The photograph should not be modified in any way after it has been taken. If the Examining body or the invigilator, or the centre superintendent, or the Counselling Board considers that the name and date on the photograph has been written after taking the photograph or has been manipulated in any way the candidature of the candidate will be summarily rejected and no representation will be entertained. Not following the prescribed procedure will be considered as unfair means. |
