ACTIVITIES

A)Training :-
1.Training of under Graduates (MBBS)

B) Prosthetics and Orthotics :-
Fabrication, fitment , repair of all types of artificial limbs, calipers, braces.


C) Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy :-
Diagnosis, electrical / heat therapy, hydrotherapy, tractions (i.e cervical,lumbar), exercises to develop coordination and strength, stretching, home Care Guidance, neurodevelopmental clinic.


D) Vocational Counsellor : -
Pre Vocational Assessement - IQ Assessement - Special Education Programme for disabled children

E) Vocational Rehabilitational Unit :-
Registration for Vocational activities - Vocational Training e.g typing etc.

F) Medical Social Work/P.R.O -
Assesement of various needs of disabled persons. - Providing different types of aids and appliances through various agencies.

G) Pathology Lab :-
Haematological and bio-chemical examination of blood and urine.

H) Radiology Unit :-
300mm unit for X-rays of different parts of body -30 mm mobile X-ray unit for bed side/X-rays in Operation theatre

I) Operation theatre : -
Twin well equipped, centrally air conditioned, spacious with post operative ward.

J) Indoor Ward : -
100 bed indoor wards for male, female and children patients.

SPECIAL CLINICS :

1. Amputee Clinic - Pre and Post prosthetic assessment and training of upper and lower limb amputees twice a week.
2. Orthotics Clinic - post orthotic checkout clinic daily forenoon session.
3. Low backache clinic once a week - evaluation and conservation clinic
4. Cerebral Palsy clinic - Assessment / Training daily
5. Neuro Rehabilitation clinic - Stroke, myopathy, peripheral nerve lesions etc. daily.
6. Spinal cord injury rehabilitation clinic - daily
