Research Projects:
At present four research projects sponsored by various national funding agencies including Indian Council of Medical Research, Central Council of Research in Unani Medicine and U.P. Council of Science & Technology are continuing, while two are in the pipe-line. These projects are on the biochemical evaluation of the protective role of herbal preparations in various diseased conditions.
Current Projects:
  1. “Spermatozoa DNA Damage in Infertile Males: Protective effect of Unani Preparation”. Sponsored by Central Council of Research in Unani Medicine, New Delhi. (2009- 2012) (Total Amount: Rs. 28.0 lacs).
  2. “Aluminum mediated apoptosis and expression of tumor suppressor gene “TP53” in neurobalstoma cell line :protective role of Bacopa monnieri” Sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, (2010-13) (Total Amount: Rs. 16.0 lacs).
  3. “Study of the Neurotoxicity of Silica Nanoparticles in Different Regions of rat Brain” Sponsored by Council of Science & Technology, U.P., Lucknow. (2009-2011) (Total Amount: Rs. 8.0 lacs).
